The bike was registered in 1978 and features a Egli style frame (believed to be a CTG) it has had only 1 previous owner and it has been in the sellers possession for nearly 30 years originally bought with with a 1000cc engine in 1989 it was changed to the current unit soon after together with a Norton gearbox. After some competition use it was stored. The engine was rebuilt in 2017 and is fitted with MK2 cams, electronic ignition, the latest model Alton generator and a 34mm Mikuni Carburettor. The transmission was uprated to a Bob Newby belt drive and clutch. The frame featuring Grimica drum brakes front and rear was refurbished and fitted with a new seat and tank together with a new electrical system and speedometer, it finally had an MOT in 2017 followed by minimal usage. It is currently on SORN and would benefit from recommissioning, it should be noted the engine is not yet fully run in.
