The B100P or "Magnum" as it was known in the States was first introduced during 1966. The model was fairly typical of Suzuki's lightweight production utilising a pressed steel spine frame equipped with swinging arm rear suspension and telescopic forks. The single cylinder two stroke engine was fitted with Suzuki's "Posi-Force" automatic lubrication system and produced a claimed 11hp @ 7,000rpm which propelled the machine to a 65mph top speed.
When "Cycle World" tested an example in 1966 they were impressed by it's high specification, which in addition to the features already noted, included full width hubs, a full chaincase, "excellent lights" and an "effective silencer" and described the models performance as being "outstanding" in all respects. In closing the test they concluded that "Japanese motorcycle manufacturers are making it increasingly harder for other nations to even match their accomplishments, much less compete with them. Suzuki is doing all it can to contribute to this leadership with the new Magnum".
The example offered is described as being in good condition throughout and is offered with a Swansea V5c, an owners manual, Certificate of title from Michigan State and a recently expired MOT certificate.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
