We are informed that 'YDU 55' has not only been the subject of an extensive restoration carried out between 2010 and this year but also had just three owners from new. The recent work included: the chassis and body panels being stripped, shot blasted, primed and finished in two pack paint - Red for the body, Black for the chassis; the wheels being shot blasted and repainted in Silver; a full retrim of the Black interior; a thorough overhaul of the engine that included many new parts and the fitting of many other new or reconditioned parts as required. As a result of all the above, the vendor now considers this smart Coupe to have "very good" bodywork, paintwork, interior trim, engine and manual gearbox. The MG's odometer currently displays 6,306 miles, the speedometer being a replacement for one that apparently read approximately 75,000. The MOT and tax are valid until September 2014.
