Sold for £11,531

Lot details
Registration No: 109 GMO
Chassis No: 2525X
Mot Expiry: Exempt

Introduced for the 1925 model-year, the Standard Six rode on a 114.5-in wheelbase and was powered by a 191ci (3130cc) straight-six engine allied to three-speed manual transmission. Supplied new to Australia or so its RHD configuration and `Holden Body' plaque would imply, this particular example was imported to the UK by David Stone in 1979. Forming part of private collections since 2005, the Buick has covered very few miles during that time. Unused for the last five years, the Tourer has had its engine recommissioned via the fitting of a new 6-volt battery. Described by the vendor as being in "good" condition with regard to its engine, gearbox, electrical equipment, interior trim, bodywork and paintwork, `109 GMO' comes complete with driver's handbook, sidescreens and a custom made indoor car cover by Classic Additions bearing the registration number.
