  • Significant time for H&H Classics as it builds upon a proud history auctioning classic and performance cars, motorcycles and scooters

Transformative new premises are on the horizon for a leading specialist automotive auction house which will offer something new to the classic car community.

H&H Classics, which was based at The Motor House in Warrington for almost 20 years and is temporarily located at Cinnamon House in the same town, is closing in on permanent new premises to hold on-site and bespoke sales, plus automotive meet-and-greet events.

It is also aiming to ensure that the new location will be a great place to work for all its employees, so they can continue to thrive while providing the first-class customer service that H&H Classics is renowned for.

Colette McKay, managing director at H&H Classics, said: “H&H Classics plays an integral role in the classic car community, so we’re keen to make sure our future location will give something back to enthusiasts, as well as being an exciting base for our business and our employees. Watch this space for more details, which we will announce in due course.”

While H&H Classics is headquartered in Cheshire, its auctions are also held in Derbyshire, Cambridgeshire and the West Midlands, helping the auction house develop a vast network of contacts and customers across the entire country.

This year alone H&H Classics has offered a variety of highly-sought after vehicles for sale including a scooter that appeared in the cult film Quadrophenia and a Bentley owned by Peter Sellers, one of the greatest comic actors of all times. A recent automobilia auction held at the company’s Warrington base also saw 100 per cent of the lots successfully sold.

Colette added: “We’ll miss The Motor House as we have fond memories built up over nearly two decades, but more importantly substantial new premises will be revealed soon and, we hope, will be a beacon for classic car owners.”
