Lot details Registration No: JAG 67L Chassis No: 2J2778BW Mot Expiry: May 2002
The XJ series of Jaguar saloons was introduced in 1968 but it wasn't until 1975 that the XJ6C was built and what a handsome coupe it was. It was a pillarless two door version on the shorter wheel base XJ6 series II and although there were slight teething problems it was an extremely desirable car straight away.
This particular coupe is exceedingly rare as it has had a complete and full Lister conversion completed on it at a cost we believe in excess of £70,000. It is one of three ever done, there were two manuals and one automatic, and it comes complete with the full Lister seven litre engine and the manual five speed getrag gearbox. It also has the Lister suspension and brake modifications, the full body kit and Lister interior and this car is genuinely capable of approaching 200mph we believe.
It is described as being in lovely condition throughout and the odometer reading of 40,000 miles is genuine since the car was converted to its present specifications and it has a current MOT test until May of next year.
A staggering seven litre flying machine.
