The Triumph Stag was produced over a seven year period starting in 1970 but although over 25,000 examples were manufactured it wasn't the success it might have been due to a reliability problem. It was notable for its t-bar for rollover safety and gladly they are much admired today because the reliability problems have, of course, been completely solved.
This particular example dates from 1975 and is finished in the most wonderful colour of topaz and is described as being in very good condition throughout by its present owner who has kept it for the last eight years. It comes with the hard and soft tops and a lot of history and we are informed that it drives very well and has the major benefit of the manual gearbox with overdrive and the alloy wheels.
It is believed that the 81,000 miles on the odometer is genuine from new and this is an original right hand drive example which is in very good condition and you'll have to fight over this one!
