Lot details Registration No: HXS 43 Chassis No: CRH6656 Mot Expiry: 21.05.2002
The Corniche was a coachbuilt version of the Silver Shadow and came in its lovely two door format with styling by James Young or Mulliner Park Ward albeit the James Young examples are extremely rare. The mechanical aspects of the car were the same as for the Silver Shadow and the convertibles were introduced in the spring of 1971.
This particular example dates from 1969 and was bought from Broughton's the main Rolls-Royce and Bentley dealers in Birmingham only eight months ago by one of clients who sadly died shortly afterwards. Although his father bought it as a 26,300 mile car from new we believe, his son is not prepared to warrant the mileage and so we shall sell it as 'believed correct from new'. It is described as being in very good condition throughout and it is currently tested until May next year and comes with its current V5 registration document, which confirms the cherished registration number of HSX 43, which is included in the sale.
This is a wonderful car which should give its new owner many years of pleasurable motoring.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
