The Ossa SDR Six Days Replica is arguably one of the most attractive off road motorcycles ever built with its attractive fibreglass rear mudguard, seat pan and number plate. The US sales literature described the machine as "a replica of the factory prepared machines that have been consistent gold medal winners in this annual event" and listed features such as the 32mm Amal carburettor, brush guards on both the brake and gear levers, water resistant brake linings and a speedometer that could be rest in tenths in either direction as being of special note. The machine, which weighed 235lbs was claimed to produce 24bhp at 8,000 rpm used a solid state electronic ignition system, 6 volt battery lighting and was equipped with a five speed wide ratio gearbox.
The example offered appears to be in fine unrestored condition and would make a worthy addition to any off road collection.
