Introduced in 1962, the more popular of the two P4 models (95 and 110), the Rover 95, was based around a sturdy box-section chassis equipped with independent coil and wishbone front suspension, a Panhard rod located 'live' rear axle and hydraulic disc / drum brakes. Boasting a seven-bearing crankshaft, its smooth 2625cc oise straight-six engine was rated at 102bhp and 140lbft of torque. Allied to a four-speed manual gearbox and powering the rear wheels via a 3.9:1 final drive ratio, it reputedly endowed the dignified-looking saloon with a 93mph top speed. Exchanging its aluminium bonnet, boot and door skins for less dent-prone steel ones during 1964, the Rover 95 was phased out of production in May of that year, although, not before some 3,680 had been sold.

First registered on the 8th of August 1963 (incidentally, the same day as The Great Train Robbery). Fully garaged since the purchase on 2nd of July 2014. Believed to be and original unrestored car, it displaying later model hub caps in the photographs, the originals are, however, present with the car. With its service book and MOTs suggesting the credible mileage of 66842 (as at 14th of Jnauary 2023). This 95 iteration of the Rover P4 is accompanied by the buff logbook. At 64,252 miles, the 95 benefited from 5 new tyres on 27th of July 2017.

The vendor has described the car as 100% reliable in use, between 2014 and 2023. It is also stated that the condition of the bodywork, its paintwork, the engine and transmission and the interior trim are 'Good'. The electrical equipment is described as 'Average'. Viewing is possible by prior arrangement through H & H.
